Walking in Front Oh God Before Whom my forefathers Avraham Yitzchak and Ya’akov walked (Bereishis 48:15) Something so strong is happening in the world. Among young people today, there is not only a movement to go back to the Torah. There is mamesh a great movement to walk in front of the Torah. Friends, there was a time when you walked behind the Torah: “Acharei Elokim Taylech,” when I walked after God. In this portion Ya’akov said to Yosef, “Ha'elokim Asher His'halchu Avosai Lefanav” (Bereishis 48:15) - God, before whom my fathers Avraham and Yitzchak walked. When the whole world was pagan, my father and grandfather didn't wait for God. They walked in front of God. You see what it is, we have to go before God; we have to go before Shabbos.
