An Orthodox Jewish couple was killed and their daughter hospitalized after a fire ripped through their home in Boro Park, Brooklyn early Monday morning. WABC Authorities say two people are dead after a fire early Monday in Brooklyn. The 3-alarm fire broke out at about 4 a.m. in a two and a half story house on 44th Street in Borough Park. Firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames on the first floor. By the time they got into the home, the fire had spread to the second floor. The victims, a 61-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman, were found unconscious in a back bedroom. Both were pronounced dead at Maimonides Hospital. Their daughter is in stable condition. The fire has been placed under control. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation. The couple has been identified as R’ Chaim Eluzer Shulem (ben Tuvia Gedalia) Gluck Z”L and Mrs. Faigy Gluck A”H, The Yeshiva World News reported. A person who Davens with the R' Gluck every morning called him "an extremely special person," and told Yeshiva World News that R’ Chaim was the one who arrived at Shul first and was the one to unlock the K’hal Ohr Chaim Shul where he attended, and open the building at 4:30AM every single morning. "The entire Shul was crying by 5:30AM when they realized who was killed in the fire," he told Yeshiva World News. The Levaya will be held on Monday at Shomrei Hadas Chapels in Boro Park at 2:30 pm. Please say Tehillim for Chana bas Chava Faiga, who suffered severe smoke inhalation. Boruch Dayan Ha’Emes
