Neurologically Nathaniel is a bit better. But the main concern now is infection, both in the brain (abscess) and around the wound. I (Judi) asked the doctor where to aim the prayers. He said to pray that the wound does not open up. If the brain swelling goes down then maybe he'll have more skin to cover the wound. He's back on the respirator - the doctor thinks it's better to just let his lungs take a break.

The Felbers are begging the public to daven for their son, Netanel Ilan ben Shayna Tziporah, who is in critical condition. Please have him in mind when you light Shabbos candles.
