Rimmel Tzedaka Website

Last Saturday night the Jewish people were devastated by the news of a terrible car accident where the Rimel family lost their young mother, Tzippi z”l, along with her newborn daughter, Noam Rachel z”l, who was only 3 weeks old. This heart-breaking tragedy left the father of the family, Ephraim, 35, hospitalized in critical condition, and Etai, their 12-year-old son, in life-threatening condition. Their three other sweet children: Leah, nine years old, Amichai, seven years old, and Harel, three years old, are currently being cared for by the extended family, with a very unknown future ahead of them. In these very moments, Ephraim, the father of the family, is undergoing many complicated medical procedures and surgeries in order to try to save him from the severe injuries to his spine. Etai, ever since the accident, remains in critical life-threatening condition, unconscious and on a respirator. The Rimel family is facing a very long and complicated period of recovery and rehabilitation which entails great costs, including making their home handicap-accessible, which is an outstanding cost on its own. The Rimels’ hometown, Neve Tzuf, has committed themselves to organize and initiate a crowdfunding project. We need your help! We are turning to the Jewish people, known for their generous loving kindness, to show their love and support now more than ever. We are turning to you with our urgent and heartfelt plea to join us in embracing the Rimel family and helping us in this important fundraising effort for both immediate assistance to the family as well as to ensure financial security for the costs of living, therapies, and rehabilitation in the near future. The collection of donations will happen in a few stages. The first round of donations will be to collect 1 million NIS for the immediate needs of the children. During the second stage, we will collect 3 million NIS that will be put toward making the Rimel house handicap accessible for the family members who survived the crash. The third round of donations will be to ensure the (financial) future of the Rimel children who will be growing up with a severely-injured and disabled father, and without their mother. Join us in giving- “Whoever saves a single life, saves the world entire” We are fervently praying for the recovery and healing of Ephraim Tzvi Moshe ben Shulamit Tzivya and Itai Yaakov ben Tzippora.
