Dear friends,

As the global impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to unfold we have been heartened to see so many of you sharing the ways in which our books have enabled you to confront, comprehend, and adapt during these unfamiliar and uncertain times.  Please rest assured that all of our employees and those of our distributors are maintaining the strictest of standards to prevent the risk of contamination.

To that end, we would like to take this opportunity, as Jews around the world are preparing for Shabbat - one that promises to be quite unique absent the many customs, practices, and surroundings that give us strength and support to carry us through each week - to ensure you that we are doing all we can to ensure that we can provide you with the tools to inspire, uplift, and support you in the weeks to come.

We are committed to ensuring the smooth delivery of books ahead of Passover and so we are offering free shipping on all orders from www.korenpub.com in the US and Canada through the end of Passover to ensure that you have access to the books you need throughout this period.  Other measures are also in place for orders in the UK and Israel to make sure you have the books you need.

We will be sharing, via social media, email, and of course in print, words of Torah, inspiration, and hizuk during this difficult period to help you cope and adjust.  As so many of us gear up for a Shabbat unable to attend synagogue services in order to help stop the spread of this terrible virus we would like to share with you this week's parasha, Vayakel-Pekudei and maftir HaHodesh from the Koren Tanakh of the Land of Israel as a downloadable PDF here.

To the many of us who find ourselves so soon before Pesah unable to spend it with family, we want to offer what we can to make sure that, although not ideal, this year can be truly uplifting Passover for all and encourage you to keep an eye out for tips, advice, and ideas to create engaging Sedarim, meaningful prayer experiences at home for all, and more.

We would like to also take this opportunity to encourage all of our customers to heed the advice of medical, governmental, and religious leaders in implementing effective hygiene and social distancing practices.  The closure of synagogues and suspension of, in person, Torah classes are in fact a fulfillment of true Jewish values of valuing life and we are honored to provide resources to help you use these unique times to spend a bit more time over your daily prayer, to learn a small amount more Torah, and to bring more light into the world so that we might see a speedy resolution to the current situation.

Wishing you all a Shabbat Shalom and a happy, healthy Passover from everyone at Koren Publishers Jerusalem.
