Subject: A Great Day - A Great Opportunity
| Lag B'omer, 5780
The 33rd day of the Omer marks the passing of the great tannaitic sage, Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai. Rabbi Shimon was the first to reveal and publicly teach the mystical dimension of Torah. He authored the classic text of kabbala, the Book of Zohar. His day of passing, "my day of happiness," is widely celebrated with great joy until this very day, as was his declared desire.
In celebration of this auspicious, radiant day, we turn to you to be a partner with us in perpetuating the great light of the teachings of Chasidism and the mystical dimension of Torah.
We have three important texts of Chasidism that need to go to print, but are waiting for your dedications.
I urge you to tap into this great zechut by clicking on the following dedication link:
Celebrate the great day of Rabbi Shimon with a dedication in honor of a joyous occasion or in loving memory of a departed one.
Contribution opportunities include:
Thank you and with all good wishes for a healthy and happy summer, | Rabbi Yosef B. Friedman
P.S.
The Rebbe writes in a letter: Publication of a Torah book is the ultimate way to celebrate a festive family occasion and the finest memorial one could establish for a dear departed one. Behold, at any given time, and in any corner of the world, that a person studies from this sefer, the tzaddik [on high] evokes merit on behalf of the donor through whom the sefer was disseminated. | | | | | |
