Message from the National Weather Service of Chicago: "We have confirmed that an EF-1 tornado with estimated peak winds of 110 mph and path length of 3 miles touched down in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago during the 8/10/2020 derecho event". 

Image shows the path of the tornado. 

Tornado started in Lincolnwood, jumped the North Shore Channel and went through West Ridge (West Rogers Park) and Rogers Park, then onto the lake.
