Two men entered the back door of a co-op on Kedzie Avenue south of Devon, pretending to be a nurse who came to examine the owner of the co-op several weeks after he had recovered from a hospitalization for Covid-19. They stole his wallet containing cash, charge cards, driver's license, Social Security Card, Auto Insurance Card, etc. (This may be the same two that tried to enter a home in northern West Rogers Park claiming to be checking a broken water pipe that you reported a few weeks ago.)
How in the world they knew that he was expecting a nurse is a mystery!
