The 19th of Kislev is celebrated as the "Rosh Hashanah of Chassidism." On this date, in 1798, the founder of Chabad Chassidism, Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi , was freed from his imprisonment in czarist Russia.
More than a personal liberation, this event heralded a new era in the revelation of the "inner soul" of Torah.
On the same day in 1772, Rabbi DovBer, the "Maggid of Mezeritch"— returned his soul to it's maker.
This year due to Covid19 the annual Seudah and Farbrengen at F.R.E.E. will take place virtually Motzoie Shabbos December 5th 8:00pm.
We present an authentic Chasidic Farbrengen led by Rabbi Yosef Cohen of Yeshivas Ohr Eliyahu - Lubavitch Mesivta of Chicago.
Please join us live on Zoom or YouTube for an inspiring evening on this auspicious day.
With blessings for a good year in learning of Chasidus and in Chasidic conduct.
