Public Safety Update - Evanston Shooting Dear Neighbor,   I am sad to provide an update on yesterday's tragic crime spree that began on Chicago's South Side and ended with a shootout at the Evanston/Chicago border. Police are still investigating the terrible chain of events that resulted in at least 3 innocent victims losing their lives.
