Surpassing our Expectations: Bnos 5781 at a Glance
3000 girls at a virtual phone event!

Who would have believed it?

And those 3000 girls weren't an anomaly. Throughout this challenging/crazy/growth-filled Bnos season, we saw unprecedented numbers at our virtual events.

Truth be told, at the beginning of the year, we weren't sure how another COVID-impacted season would go. But we strive to do the best we can do under any circumstances. We want to teach our girls that with work, effort, and much siyata dishmaya, we can conquer our challenges.

And with Hashem's help, Bnos 5781 surpassed all our expectations!

Our events weren't second-best placeholders. Instead, we created vibrant new programming that we'll continue to build on as B"eH we resume our in-person schedules.
We're looking back on our busiest season ever: Bnos on the phone, Bnos hotline, Bnos in a Box, Bnos pen pals, Virtual/socially distanced/in-person Bnos One on One, Bnos Bikur Cholim (BBC) virtual visits, BBC in-person visits, BBC food packages, Pre-Yom Tov and Rosh Chodesh inspirational speakers for girls and women, Pre-Yom Tov girls' events, Bnos Leaders' Night, Weekly newsletter, and more!

More than that, we learned valuable lessons that will elevate our programming for years to come:

Lesson One: Virtual is a powerful tool. On the local level, we can't wait to get back to "real" Bnos groups. But virtual events have the power to unite girls from all over the country. We can play a game with girls from Lakewood to L.A. and everywhere in between!

The girls feel a part of a larger whole! They recognize the purpose that unites them with Bnosers from around the country.

Lesson Two: Now more than ever, Bnos is bigger than Shabbos groups. From the incredible response to Bnos One on One, BBC, and mid-week events, we see a thirst to connect with other girls in all different ways. Our motto has always been "giving girls the ability to thrive in a non-academic environment with kosher fun under the banner of Bnos Agudas Yisroel ." We're committed to offering as many opportunities as we can!

Lesson Three: Tweens need Bnos, too! For years, middle-schoolers were caught in a no-man's land, too old for Bnos groups and too young to be leaders. But no more! From their enthusiastic participation in Bnos One on One, we saw the need for their own unique programming. So, watch out for info about our exciting, all-new middle school division.

Meanwhile, keep an eye out for news about upcoming summer programming, another innovation for this year.

5781 was quite the learning experience, and we can't wait to apply those lessons to Bnos 5782! We're committed to filling the needs of Klal Yisroel, no matter what the circumstances. Challenges only help us grow.

In fact, our new BIGGER vision of Bnos is this: Unite girls from kindergarten through marriage with a place to thrive in a Kosher way under the Banner of Bnos Agudas Yisroel.

We can't wait to see you there!
