News from the Agudah:

  • The Daf Yomi Commission of Agudas Yisroel is pleased to present a worldwide broadcast of the siyum on meseches Yuma from Camp Agudah Midwest. See below for more details and how to join.

  • This past week Agudah of Illinois held legislative barbecues to show appreciation to their legislators. See below for more details.

  • Ki Heim Chayeinu, a division of the Agudah, will be having a siyum on Yuma this Thursday. See below for more details and how to join.

  • The daily shiurim from the Torah Projects Commission will be on topics appropriate for the Bein Hametzarim continues this week. Please see below for this week's schedule.
Worldwide Live Broadcast of Siyum on Meseches Yuma
The Daf Yomi Commission of Agudas Yisroel is pleased to present a worldwide broadcast of the siyum on meseches Yuma from Camp Agudah Midwest.

Rabbi Shmuel Yehuda Levin, Rosh HaYeshiva, Telshe Chicago, and Rabbi Yitzchok Margareten, Rav, K'hal Shomre Shabbos, Magid Shiur Daf Yomi, Cleveland Heights, will address the siyum.

The siyum will be on Thursday, July 8, at 8:15 PM EDT. The livestream will be available on TorahAnytime.com/AgudahTorah or by calling 718-298-2077 x 52.
Agudath Israel of Illinois Holds Legislative BBQ's
This past week Agudath Israel of Illinois held legislative barbecues in Chicago and Skokie to show their appreciation to their legislators.

On Tuesday, June 29, Yitizi Weiss hosted the event with Senator Ram Villivalam and Representative Denyse Stoneback. Wednesday's barbecue, hosted by Adam and Chaili Glickman in Skokie, was attended by Senator Laura Fine and Representative Jennifer Gong-Gershowitz.

"These barbecues were a great way for members of the community to interact with their legislators as well as show appreciation for all their accomplishments and hard work they put in this past legislative session," said Rabbi Shlomo Soroka, director of government affairs, Agudath Israel of Illinois. 
Ki Heim Chayeinu Siyum on Yuma
As Daf Yomi learners worldwide complete Maseches Yoma, Ki Heim Chayeinu once again brings to you an inspirational and exciting Siyum celebration. Hahu Yoma - The Day is Coming will no doubt be another unique global event in honor of our Daf Yomi heroes.

The extensive program will keep you and your family fascinated as different parts of the Masechta are brought to life through song, speakers and various visual presentations. And falling out as it does in the middle of the Three Weeks, this is the perfect opportunity to discover more about the Beis Hamikdash and the Avodah.

Unique features include a Musical Avodas Yom HaKippurim with Chazzan Ushi Blumenberg, accompanied by the Yedidim choir, and a virtual tour of the Beis Hamikdash with renowned expert R' Yoav Elan taking us literally into the Beis Hamikdash, giving us a better understanding of Yoma, as well as linking Maseches Yoma with the Three Weeks, awakening our yearning for the Third Beis Hamikdash.
