After Decade-Long Push: OU Advocacy's Big Win to Create Federal Energy Infrastructure Program to Benefit Schools, Synagogues, Other Nonprofits

Tucked inside the 2,000-page infrastructure bill, to be signed into law Monday, is the Nonprofit Energy Efficiency Act that OU Advocacy helped create a decade ago – and has worked for its passage ever since. The program provides $50 million in grants for day schools, yeshivas, synagogues and other nonprofits to make much-need building upgrades.
