Dear Friends,
This past Shabbos was Kehillah Fund Shabbos in Chicago. Many Rabbanim in various shuls spoke about the importance of Jewish education and giving to the schools in our community. Rabbi Twerski spoke about how the Kehillah Fund allows us to fulfill two of the most important things to a Jew, together: Chinuch (Education) and Achdus (Unity). The Kehillah Fund collects donations from our Kehillah, our community, and distributes them to 11 Chicago Jewish day schools. Hundreds of families in our community donate monthly to the Kehillah Fund. If you are one of those families, thank you! If you have yet to join, please consider making a monthly donation in an amount that is comfortable for you. If you already give, please consider increasing your donation or making an additional one time donation. If you feel comfortable, please forward this information to family and friends who value Jewish education and would like the opportunity to support it.
