Bnos Pen Pals with a Twist x 2
What do you do with a popular program that engages hundreds of girls? You make it even better, of course.

For years, Bnos ran a summer pen pal program for girls in grades 2-8. Girls filled out a form with their name, age, and location, and soon they'd be corresponding with a new friend in another city. It was always a popular program, and during COVID, it exploded with more than 300 pen pal pairs.

There was only one way to go: UP! This year, Bnos has two new and improved pen pal programs.

Program #1, Bnos Pals, extends Bnos's just-launched Tween Light division for middle school girls. Girls in 6th - 8th grades fill out a form with the usual questions, plus info about their hobbies and talents. Bnos matches up girls based on mutual interests. Bnos Pals also gives the girls a list of activities to do with their pal: phone activities, conversation starters, and letter writing ideas.

Program #2 is Connections. This pen pal program is for Bnos Leaders. Just like Bnos Pals, the girls are matched by interest. "We intend to CONNECT," explains Mrs. Chana Baila Hass, National Director of Bnos Agudath Israel. "We want the girls to have an eye-opening realization that they're part of something BIG!"

A girl who's a Bnoser or Leader in her community may not realize that Bnos is national. She won't know that Bnos is happening in 39 cities and 300 branches with 1000s of leaders. Corresponding with a girl out of her community broadens her horizons.

Is your community ready for a new Bnos or Bnos Tween Light branch? Or would you like to match up your girls with a Bnos pen pal? Email us at bnos@agudah.org to find out how.
Bnos Leader to Leader, L2L
Bnos Agudas Yisroel is proud to announce a brand new program, Leader to Leader, L2L! In this program Bnos leaders will be paired with a leader in a different city. This will give leaders the opportunity to exchange ideas with one another and to be connected to a girl who is doing the exact same thing as them – making Bnos bigger and better!

Call us at 212.797.9000 ext. 353 or email bnos@agudah.org by February 10, 2022 to get
your Leader.
