Tehillim 82
In this perek, Assaf reveals that when judges judge properly and maintain our justice system as it should be, then Hashem maintains proper order in the forces of nature. But if we allow corruption to pervert our judicial system, then Hashem allows nature to fall apart.
This is what happened, says the Maharsha (1555-1631), at the time of the flood in the days of Noach. Since society had disregarded moral values, and the land had become corrupt and robbery was a way of life, therefore Hashem reciprocated by allowing nature to become corrupted and to produce a flood.
This is the "Shir Shel Yom" for every Tuesday after Shacharit.
Segula for this perek: To have Hatzlacha and quick results on a mission. (From the Sefer Shimush Tehillim attributed to Rav Hai Gaon (969 -1038).)
1.  A song of Assaf. God stands in the congregation of God; in the midst of the judges He will judge.
2.  How long will you judge unjustly and favor the wicked forever?
3.  Judge the poor and orphan; justify the humble and the impoverished.
4.  Release the poor and the needy; save [them] from the hands of [the] wicked.
5.  They did not know and they do not understand [that] they will walk in darkness; all the foundations of the earth will totter.
6.  I said, "You are angelic creatures, and all of you are angels of the Most High."
7.  Indeed, as man, you will die, and as one of the princes, you will fall.
8.  Arise, O God, judge the earth, for You inherit all the nations.
