B"H I am away for Shabbos visiting family that I haven't seen since before the pandemic, and life feels like it is getting back to normal. We need to appreciate the small things in life, like being with family, and realize that those are really the important things in life. Each child, or grandchild, is unique and special and has their own special mission in this world.
In this week's parsha we learn the important lesson of the value of every person. Each nasi from each shevet brought exactly the same gift for the mishkan. Yet, each one's gift is described individually in detail, repeating the same words over and over again. We learn from this that even though each nasi brought the same thing, each one was appreciated and beloved by Hashem as if they were unique.
We all have something unique to offer Hashem and just as one missing puzzle piece ruins a 5,000 piece puzzle, everyone's contribution is essential for the ultimate masterpiece of Hashem's creation. We are all precious to Hashem and every one of our actions do matter.
Please remember to say your Tehillim this Shabbos. B"H the days are longer now, but It is still perfectly fine to say your Tehillim on Friday night. You may check the Shabbos Tehillim spreadsheet if you are unsure which kappitlach you signed up for.
