Community Safety Tip Line and suggested points about calling 911
When you experience a hate crime, assault etc.. please always call 911 first. Try not to be anonymous when placing a call, as that will make it difficult for law enforcement to prosecute etc.
Only after placing a call to 911 and you're safe, please send the incidents info to our tipline so we can make sure it gets the proper attention.
It's critical to make a 911 call for any incident you feel threatened. This will help the city's 911 algorithms understand our community needs more police presence.
