Public Safety Update Notable Arrest Made in 24th District | | | | Dear Neighbor,
The 24th District Police have arrested a suspect believed to be involved in multiple crimes across three police districts. Jeremiah Magdaleno was arrested along with a female accomplice, Jessica Daoud.

The suspect was charged with ten felonies, including burglary, robbery, aggravated battery, and vehicular hijacking. The female accomplice was charged with one count of criminal trespass to vehicle.
The police believe Jeremiah Magdaleno has ties to multiple crimes committed in the past several weeks in the 24th, 20th, and 16th police districts, including the vehicle hijacking and battery of a 68-year-old victim in the 6600 block of N Mozart.
The full list of charges filed against him are as follows: - Three (3) felony counts – Burglary
- Two (2) felony counts – Receive/Possess/Sell Stolen Vehicle
- Two (2) felony counts – Robbery – Armed – Other Dangerous Weapon
- One (1) felony count – Vehicular Hijacking – Aggravated – Handicapped
- One (1) felony count – Aggravated Battery/Use Deadly Weapon
- One (1) felony count – Aggravated Battery/Victim 60+
Jeremiah Magdaleno and Jessica Daoud were arrested by 24th District day watch and Robbery/Mission team personnel on October 30 on the 2500 block of W. Touhy.
