Dear Kehot Friend,
At the climax of the story of Purim, the Megillah states:
-- ליהודים היתה אורה ושמחה וששון ויקר
For the Jews there was light and happiness, joy and prestige.
The teachings of Chasidus supplies its students with abundant light, happiness, joy and prestige. Indeed, the deeper meaning of the merriment (l'visumei) of Purim is the immersion in the study of Chasidus.
With Purim upon us, and the giving of charity on our mind, I appeal to you to help us publish:
1) A book by the Mitteler Rebbe on Purim and Chanukah,
2) A book by the Rebbe on the essence of Chasidus,
3) A Book by the Alter Rebbe on how to elevate and transform our materialism and develop a love for G-d,
Make this Purim a Chasidic Purim. Please visit our dedication website and help us bring these books of Chasidic LIGHT, JOY and PRESTIGE to the public.
