I just received this link from my daughter in law. She told me that many soldiers were drafted directly from where they were for the chag. Many are missing basics: underwear, socks, toothpaste, etc. In addition, people from the south are being brought to the north. They have nothing. The families who were on the border, whose towns were infiltrated by terrorists and were saved and evacuated, need help. Our children live in maalot. My grandchildren are going house to house and collecting necessary items and bringing it to the soldiers and evacuated families. My daughter in law and friends are cooking and bringing food, as the soldiers and families are in school dormitories. All schools in israel are closed. Every bit of assistance is helpful.
