I just witnessed a woman in her van almost hit two eight year old girls crossing the street while the bus was still there with its security stick out. As my daughter was getting off the bus, I saw this van continue driving in the opposite direction towards 2 oblivious girls just crossing the street. I was shocked and wondering why she didnt stop. The bus honked and she continued driving. I started running towards the street screaming to get her attention but she did not hear me because she was too busy looking down at her phone in her right hand. I'm not sure bderech Hateva what made her stop, obviously Hashem made her look up. She was probably less than 2 feet away from hitting those girls B'chasdei Hashem. I beg you, please practice safe driving!! Thank you anonymous woman for reminding me how deadly one look at a phone can potentially be....
