We find ourselves in exceptionally challenging times. May our learning be a zechus for the safe and speedy return of our captives, the healing of our wounded, the safety of our brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisrael, and help to protect all those fighting on the front lines.

Please note the new time that the video presentation will be available due to the rally taking place tomorrow. See details below.

Dear Friend,

You are part of a growing community of women joining together monthly on Rosh Chodesh for inspiration and connection. Rabbi Eliyahu Kitov shares in the Book of Our Heritage that the rainbow was created in Kislev. This eternal bond between G-d and humanity was revealed during the darkest of days as daylight began to wane. Our people witnessed the miracle of Chanukah many millennia later during this same period of yearly darkness. We pray that this year, we merit to see the divine intervention in our challenging times in this miraculous month of Kislev.

Please join the OU Women's Initiative at ouwomen.org/rc tomorrow at 9am EST for our virtual Rosh Chodesh Kislev shiur with Mrs. Chana Leah Rapoport.

Mrs. Chana Leah Rapoport, a principal and teacher in Toronto, is a veteran educator who gives many weekly adult classes. She is an international lecturer, whose shiurim have been enjoyed by diverse audiences. For over two decades, Mrs. Rapoport has spent her summers in Moscow, Russia, where she is the director of Camp Eitz Chaim.
