Subject: [chicago-aneinu] Car Hijackings in WRP

CHICAGO — A group of armed men committed three carjackings and robbed a fourth victim in a 45-minute-long crime spree on the North Side overnight, according to preliminary Chicago police reports. No arrests have been made.

The holdups began just before 4 a.m. in the 6700 block of North Richmond. A man told police that two white vehicles boxed him in, and at least four armed men got out of the cars with guns.

They took his black 2018 Honda Civic and drove away.

About ten minutes later, another man was carjacked at gunpoint as he parked in the 7400 block of North Western Avenue.

He also reported that two white cars boxed him in. Four gunmen got out of the cars and took his blue 2018 Toyota Camry.

At about 4:25 a.m., the black Honda that was carjacked on Richmond rolled up to the 2100 block of West Estes. The occupants got out and robbed a man at gunpoint on the street.
