Nachum and guests explored Magen Lacholeh's work, and belief that all people have the right to obtain top quality medical treatment. Nachum completed his great week of broadcasting in Israel with a visit to Magen Lacholeh in Jerusalem. Nachum interviewed Rabbi Benny Fisher and Zvi Gewirtz about the invaluable services of this great organization. Magen Lacholeh (literally: "shield and Protector of the sick") is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, created in 1991 to bridge the growing gap between patients and health professionals. They provide the knowledge, contacts, support and often the equipment and funds as well, that allow every patient access to the best possible medical care available. Headquartered in Jerusalem, Magen Lacholeh not only provides the road-map but also walks that road alongside patients and their families, regardless of their background and the nature of their needs.
