SHMAIS.COM FLASHBACK: MIRACLES AMONGST THE SORROW

As the world remains in shock from the horrific terrorist attack that brought down the world famous World Trade Center buildings and the terribly sad news of the number of lives lost r"l and people injured there has been some good news. There are a number of Lubavitchers who work in the World Trade Center and one of those is Zalman Lazaroff. Zalman who works for Morgan Stanley, has his office on the 72nd floor. Behashgocha Protis Zalman was busy this morning arranging for his nephew who arrived to Crown Heights from Montreal earlier than expected and had to be picked up by other relatives. It was for this reason that he arrived late and was about a block away when the first plane crashed into the building. A short while later the second plane crashed into the 40th floor of the building where Zalman worked! Zalman immediately called his wife to inform her that he was B"H all right and started walking back to Crown Heights, where he arrived B"H 2 hours later.
