If one has two kinds of drink, such as beer and mead, etc. and is fond of one of them, he should say Grace /after Meals/ over the /drink/ that he is fond of. This /applies/ all the more if he drank that /drink/ earlier, prior /to saying/ Grace after Meals, because of his fondness for it. /Then/ it is definitely proper /for him/ to say Grace over it as well and not /to say it/ over the other drink, to avoid his own table having been full and the table of his Master empty. 4 On the other hand, all this /applies/ only if the /drink he is fond of/ is a principal local drink, which is /defined as a drink/ that it is usual to drink in that place. If /the drink/ is only drunk /there/ occasionally, however, /then/ even though it is actually of more consequence than the other /drink/, it is not /regarded as/ a principal local drink, as is the case with other drinks /of distinction that are drunk only occasionally/, such as apple cider and pomegranate cider.

The same ruling /applies/ to kvass or borscht. Even if the public mostly drinks /these drinks/ they are nevertheless of no more consequence than water
