In this week’s Parsha the mitzva of “Lo Sonu”, the prohibition of causing pain to another person, is mentioned twice. Our sages derive from here that one mention refers to cheating another person while the other refers to insultingFeature Shiur Parshas Behar: Painful Words another person or otherwise hurting someone through words, also known as onaas devarim. In fact, these two prohibitions are counted separately in the list of the 613 mitzvos.
