Eyal ben Iris Teshurah This week’s Parshah details the disastrous mission of the meraglim – the spies that Moshe sent to scout out the Land of Israel, and the catastrophic repercussions of the bad report that they delivered. The whole episode begs an important question. If, as Moshe tells us (Devarim 1:23), he thought it a good idea to send them, why then did he criticize Klal Yisroel for requesting the mission? Was it a good idea to send them or a bad one?
