Dear Neighbor, In light of the tragedy in Pittsburgh, I am organizing an Outdoor Roll Call with the 24th District Police Department and local Rabbinic leadership. Please join us on Thursday, November 1 from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the parking lot of Congregation Adas Yeshurun, 3050 W. Touhy, for an important display of police force and solidarity with the victims of the Pittsburgh synagogue attack. The program will be concluded with prayers for the victims of the shooting and for a speedy recovery of the injured. An Outdoor Roll Call provides a highly visible police presence on our streets and helps deter criminals. The public will have the opportunity to see police officers in action and learn what the police department is doing to keep our places of worship safe. We will also hear words of encouragement from local Rabbis and community leaders. This is the opportunity to show our support for the police and express solidarity with the victims of the Pittsburgh anti-Semitic attack. Everyone is invited; I hope to see you all there. Sincerely,
