HaGaon HaRav Gershon Edelstein Shlita, 96, has been admitted to Bnei
Brak’s Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital after feeling weak following the
fast. According to Dr. Moti Ravid, the Ponavezh Rosh Yeshiva has been
admitted to an intensive care unit.
Rav Edelstein was taken to the hospital during the night after
complaining of weakness. He was first checked by a doctor in his home
and the decision was made to transport him to the hospital. Persons
close to him report that despite his weakness, his condition is good,
Kikar Shabbos News reports.
The tzibur is asked to be mispallel for Yerachmiel Gershon ben Miriam
bsoch shar cholei yisrael.
