Dear Friends,

We hope that you are enjoying your advance access to Likkutei Sichos in English - Shmos. As valuable supporters of the project, we would like to reach out to you for feedback on some of the newest features that have been included in the weekly Sichos. They include:

1.    Opening the Roshei Teivos - In order to make learning easier in the Hebrew and Yiddish, in our latest Sichos we have opted to open up all abbreviations.

2.    Footnote Numbering - Our Hebrew/Yiddish footnote numbering system has changed to aleph bais, to make a clearer distinction between english and hebrew footnotes.

3.    Font Weight - To increase ease of reading, we have made our bold and regular text the same size, creating a seamless transition between the Rebbe's words and the explanatory text.

4.    Nikud - We are experimenting with including nekudos on some of our Sichos, so that even beginning Hebrew students will be able to read the original text. Initially we were hesitant, as nikud is not used on Yiddish in most Seforim, but due to several requests we have decided to run two trials - on one Hebrew and Yiddish sicha each.

5.    More - Over the coming weeks, expect to see further additions and tweaks to our format, as we incorporate feedback from Shluchim, educators, and more!

These features are all in beta testing at the moment, and we would appreciate your feedback on them along with any other thoughts you have on the Sefer.

Responses should be sent to editor@sie.org.

Thank you again for your support. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
