Dear Friend, In this coming Shabbos parashas B'Shalach, Shabbos Shira, we read about the exodus of Mitzrayim, and the Jewish People total dependence Dear Friend, In this coming Shabbos parashas B'Shalach, Shabbos Shira, we read about the exodus of Mitzrayim, and the Jewish People total dependence for their daily food- man (manna) - falling from the Heavens during their journey in the desert. So are we, every moment, entirely dependent on Hashem! Sgulah for Parnassah - This Tuesday - Parashas Ha'man Reb Menachem Mendel M'Riminov z"l (1745-1815), disciple of Reb Elimelech of Lizensk z"l, writes in Lechem Avirim that reciting Parshas Ha'man in Shmos (Exodus) 16:4-36 shnayim mikrah v'echad targum (twice in Hebrew and once in translation, usually in Aramaic but not necessarily) on Tuesday of parshas B'Shalach, is a most auspicious time as a tremendous sgulah for parnassah! When finished reading the portion it's suggested to add a personal prayer for one's parnassah and personal needs. Parshas Ha'man can be found in most siddurim after tefillas Shacharis, and below- Hebrew with interlinear English Hebrew with Targum Unkelos (Aramaic) Yerushalmi in Brachos states that it is beneficial to say Parshas Ha'man daily, (quoting from the The Beis Yosef) saying that this helps to bring us to the emunah that livelihood comes from Hashem. May Hashem continue to Bless His children with an abundance of wealth- spiritually and physically!
