Baruch Hashem, What a year it has been!
Allow me to give you a brief overview of the tremendous growth we have achieved in this most unique year. At the same time, allow me to request a vitally needed end-of-year gift to allow us to "Close the Gap" on our increased budget of year 2020.
Growth and Support:
Firstly, I would like to thank you for being such an instrumental part of the Bais HaVaad and its continued growth. Looking back over the past year we BH have expanded our reach and implemented many new initiatives. The Business Halacha Daily program was born, and by now thousands of people receive our 3-5 minute video content on a daily basis. The Yorucha project joined swiftly on its heels, and BH we currently have over 30 chaburos as well as hundreds of individuals learning business halacha in-depth each week.
Bais Din and Dayanus Kollel:
Our Dayanus Kollel is poised to give semicha to press into service an additional 10 Dayanim. We will be doing this in Eretz Yisroel just as soon as the Ribono Shel Olam opens the borders.
Activity During COVID-19
During the COVID outbreak, our exceptional team of rabbanim and poskim worked around the clock to answer medical, business and personal shailos that arose. It was only through your generous support and assistance that we have been able to do our work to continue educating and servicing the klal.
Financial Perspective:
From a financial perspective, this year has been most/quite challenging. Our annual budget has increased by over 20% over the year and the challenges of many of our supporters have made it even more difficult.
We find ourselves at years end with a significant "gap" to cover our budget and allow us to properly pay salaries and Kollel stipends to our over 50 Dayanim, Poskim, and the esteemed aspiring Dayanim of our Kollel.
Conclusion:
We are launching an end-of-year "Close the Gap" campaign, and are asking all our donors and constituents to give as generously, to ensure continuity of all the vital services we provide for Klal Yisroel.
