Tehillim 117-118
This is the shortest psalm in the whole book of Tehillim.
Its simplicity reflects the simplicity with which all people will be aware of Hashem in the Messianic Era[1].
In the first passuk, the nations of the world express their praise of Hashem. In the second passuk, Klal Yisrael expresses its own personal thanks for all the loving kindness that Hashem showers upon them.
Segula for this perek: For protection against one who informed against you without basis. (From the Sefer Shimush Tehillim attributed to Rav Hai Gaon (969 -1038).)
פרק קי"ז
1.  Praise Hashem, all nations, laud Him, all peoples.
2.  For His kindness has overwhelmed us, and the truth of Hashem is eternal. Halleluyah!
Tehillim - 118
The next perek can be looked at on two levels; the individual level and the national level. Both interpretations have to do with a feeling of elation after being saved from a danger.
On a personal and individual level, David is writing after being saved from the hands of King Saul.
On a national level, the Jewish people are giving thanks after being saved in the days of Moshiach.
Segula for this perek: To give an opportunity of repentance to the heretics. (Or possibly, to be able to answer heretics.) (From the Sefer Shimush Tehillim attributed to Rav Hai Gaon (969 -1038).)

כט.  הוֹדוּ לַיהֹוָה כִּי טוֹב כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ:
1.  Give thanks to Hashem because He is good, for His kindness is eternal.
2.  Israel shall now say, "For His kindness is eternal."
3.  The house of Aaron shall now say, "For His kindness is eternal."
4.  Those who fear Hashem shall now say, "For His kindness is eternal."
5.  From the straits I called God; God answered me with a vast expanse.
6.  Hashem is for me; I shall not fear. What can man do to me?
7.  Hashem is for me with my helpers, and I shall see [revenge] in my enemies.
8.  It is better to take shelter in Hashem than to trust in man.
9.  It is better to take shelter in Hashem than to trust in princes.
10.  All nations surrounded me; in the name of Hashem that I shall cut them off.
11.  They encircled me, they surrounded me; in the name of Hashem that I shall cut them off.
12.  They encircled me like bees; they were extinguished like a thorn fire; in the name of Hashem that I shall cut them off.
13.  You pushed me to fall, but Hashem helped me.
14.  The might and the cutting power of God was my salvation.
15.  A voice of singing praises and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of Hashem deals valiantly.
16.  The right hand of Hashem is exalted; the right hand of Hashem deals valiantly.
17.  I shall not die but I shall live and tell the deeds of God.
18.  God has chastised me, but He has not delivered me to death.
19.  Open for me the gates of righteousness; I shall enter them and thank God.
20.  This is Hashem's gate; the righteous will enter therein.
21.  I shall thank You because You answered me, and You were my salvation.
22.  The stone that the builders rejected became a cornerstone.
23.  This was from Hashem; it is wondrous in our eyes.
24.  This is the day that Hashem made; we shall exult and rejoice thereon.
25.  Please, O Hashem, save now! Please, O Hashem, make prosperous now!
26.  Blessed be he who has come in the name of Hashem; we have blessed you in the name of Hashem.
27.  Hashem is God, and He gave us light. Bind the sacrifice with ropes until [it is brought to] the corners of the altar.
28.  You are my God and I shall thank You; the God of my father, and I shall exalt You.
29.  Give thanks to Hashem because He is good, for His kindness is eternal.
