Gimmel Tammuz is upon us. For some this evokes powerful heartfelt memories, for other it elicits feelings of yearning and צמאה לך נפשי, but for all of us it is a day that we want to feel closer and more connected to the Rebbe.
On countless occasions, the Rebbe told us that by learning his Torah, we connect to him and to his essence. The Rebbe invested his entire being into his Torah, his very Neshama. Not only does it transform your perspective and worldview, it refines you and changes you as a person.
Over the past two and a half years, Project Likkutei Sichos has transformed the way we learn the Rebbe's Torah. Thousands of Chasidm, men, women and children, are learning and delving into Likkutei Sichos in an unprecedented manner. The project offers translations, resources, Shurim, long and short, in many languages, and on many levels, that make the learning enjoyable and accessible.
We take this opportunity to encourage you to "up your game." Take your learning to the next level; encourage family members and friends to join this learning project; and if you can, start a Shiur in your neighborhood or area, and see the transformation come alive.
Until we merit, speedily in our days, to the coming of Moshiach, when תורה חדשה מאתי תצא, we will hear Torah from the Rebbe himself.
"... Hiskashrus, connection to the Rebbe, is through learning the Rebbe's Torah, and following the ways he instructed. Certainly you have designated study times in the Maamorim, Sichos, and letters of the Rebbe. Even better if the learning is in a group, where the members can encourage and inspire one another"
