Subject: [chicago-aneinu] Please say your Tehillim on Shabbos
BS"D Dear Aneinu Members,
Life continues to be challenging for Klal Yisroel. People are being bombarded with nisyanos. I don't know any family that hasn't been dealing with a difficult situation, and most are dealing with multiple challenges. As I have mentioned before, the Chofetz Chaim said that before Mashiach comes, Hashem will stretch a rope from one end of the world to the other and shake it vigorously. He said that these turbulent times are to test our faith in Hashem and we must hold on tightly until the end. If we can remember that everything is a test, it will help us pass the test with flying colors. It is when we forget why things are happening to us that we get into trouble.
We must continue to remind ourselves that Hashem loves us. We can't even begin to imagine the magnitude of the love that He has for us. As much as we love our children, Hashem's love is a thousand times greater. Hashem knows what the end will look like, and He knows that in the end it will all be worth it. Our job is to trust Him and remind ourselves that He continues to do everything for our benefit. When Mashiach comes, the world will be so glorious that the suffering we are going through will seem insignificant and we will be grateful for everything we went through.
Every day that goes by brings us closer to the magnificent time when we will be able to experience the revelation of the Shechina. The world will be a place of light, beauty, and extreme joy, and our main occupation will be to know Hashem. We will will have clarity, and we will understand why everything happened to us in our lives. May we all be zoche very soon to experience the ultimate bliss of being one with our creator, and may we all rejoice together in Yerushalayim bimhera b'yomeinu, amen!
Please remember to say your Tehillim this Shabbos. B"H the days are long, but it is perfectly fine to say your Tehillim on Friday night. You may check the Shabbos Tehillim spreadsheet if you are unsure which kappitlach you signed up for.
Wishing you all a peaceful Shabbos,
--
