Police Investigating Touhy Avenue Shooting | | | | Dear Neighbor,
The police are investigating a shooting that took place yesterday on the 3100 block of W. Touhy. A 58-year-old woman was shot in the leg by an unknown offender and was taken to St. Francis Hospital in fair condition.
According to the police, it appears to have been a case of road rage, stemming from a traffic altercation in a nearby suburb, and the victim was an unintended target. This is an active investigation by local police and Area 3 detectives. I will update you when more information is available.
