Police Investigating Shooting at 7-Eleven Dear Neighbor, The police are investigating a shooting and armed robbery that took place early yesterday morning at the 7-Eleven at 2741 W. Touhy. Four suspects entered the store at about 5:13 AM on Saturday morning. There was a struggle, and an employee was shot in the leg. The victim was taken to St. Francis Hospital in stable condition. Police are reviewing video footage from the store, and the incident is currently under investigation. Public safety is my chief priority, and I will remain in communication with 24th District Commander Joseph Brennan. I will update you when more information is available. Sincerely, Debra L.
