You are part of a growing community of women joining together monthly on Rosh Chodesh for inspiration and connection. The month of Shevat is the start of physical growth and renewal. After the long and dark winter, not only is this month the start of nature's rebirth, but on a loftier level we can see our reunion with Hashem on the horizon. Pesach is only two months away, the season of spiritual spring. How exciting to anticipate restoration of our physical world and ourselves.

Racheli currently teaches science and Judaic Studies at Ma'ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls and Jewish Law classes at Stern College for Women. She is the Rebbetzin and Yoetzet Halacha at Mount Sinai Jewish Center in Washington Heights, NY and is the proud mother of three children. At the OU Women's Initiative, Racheli has served as a Counting Toward Sinai Scholar-in-Residence and presented shiurim as part of the Simchat Torah program.
