This is week we began to study the Book of Vayikra, Leviticus.
A focus of Vayikra, are the sacrifices to be made in the Mishkan, the Tabernacle.
The discourse Transforming the Inner Self, presents a modern-day perspective on the command to offer animal sacrifices. Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi teaches that our mission is to "sacrifice" and transform the "animal" within each and every one of us. The process ultimately alters the very composition of one's materialistic traits, so that they too may gain an appreciation of the spiritual, and develop a love for G-d
