FEMA Funding Available for Cook County
Federal funding is now available to Cook County residents impacted by this summer's flooding. President Biden officially approved a disaster declaration for Illinois to help those affected by record-setting rain and storms between June 29 and July 2.
Available assistance includes grants for temporary housing and home repairs, loans to cover property losses, and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the disaster.
Residents and business owners who suffered losses can apply for assistance at www.DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling 800-621-FEMA (3362), or by using the FEMA App.
