Dear Friends,
Shabbos was a beautiful capstone to a once-in-a-lifetime week.
An inspirational Tefillah at the Kotel with the YU students, an Oneg Shabbat for evacuees from Shlomi in the North, meeting evacuees from Kfar Maimon in the South and a talk by R' Yossi Urim, our Kollel Torah Mitzion alumnus from Sderot, were highlights of a next-level Shabbat in the old city of Yerushalayim.
On Motzei Shabbbat, we served pizza, shared Torah learning and music for adults and kids from Shlomi and delivered the dozens of pairs of tzitzit we tied this week before heading for the airport.
It is difficult to leave Israel after such a meaningful and emotional week. It is also a time to appreciate Nechama for allowing, encouraging and enabling this trip and our Kollel lay leadership for their ongoing partnership.
It was an honor to represent our Kollel community both with the YU men and women and across the land of Israel.
May Hashem see the incredible Ahavat Yisrael and Chesed that is now at every turn in Israel and bring the hostages home, heal the wounded, give our soldiers protection and victory and bring the redemption.
Shavua tov and Besurot tovot,
