NOW ANNOUNCING -
The NEW! R' Nachum Langsner z"l
ST. FRANCIS HOSPITAL EIRUV!
CMC is very excited to announce that as of today, the new R' Nachum Langsner z"l Eiruv at St. Francis Hospital is fully operational!
The culmination of a great deal of research and planning, the Eiruv makes it halachically permissible to carry on Shabbat between St. Francis Hospital (main entrance or Emergency Room entrance) and CMC's nearby hospitality suite, located at 304 Elmwood Ave. The Eiruv thus provides a tremendous benefit and is certain to make a crucial difference to the experience of hundreds of patients and their visiting loved ones.
Click here or on the above map for more information about the hospitality suite. Click here to download a copy of the St. Francis Eiruv map.
CMC expresses gratitude to the administration of St. Francis Hospital for accommodating and supporting the construction of the Eiruv for the benefit of the community.
CMC also thanks the many individuals who were involved in the planning and implementation of the complexities and the practical aspects of the project.
Much appreciation goes to nationally recognized Eiruv expert Rabbi Mordechai Paretzky for contributing his indispensable knowledge and remarkable expertise in this field.
CMC thanks Rabbi Shmuel Fuerst, shlita, and Rabbi Yona Reiss, shlita, for their review and approval of the Eruv's construction.
