The common denominator between leprosy and the cleansing of Pesach is evident: the essence of purification is to thoroughly search for and look for defects that we must correct, just as on Pesach we cleanse ourselves of every crumb of leaven that corresponds to anger, external wisdom and all our shortcomings. Through this process, we embrace humility and strive for true purity and redemption. Pesach is also a time to attain high moral purity, which is why Rebbe Nachman said that reciting the Haggadah aloud and drinking the four cups of wine is a major rectification of the covenant. May we be cleansed of all impurities and see our true redemption soon in our days, Amen.
