A Short Prayer to Cancel Decrees of Fire and for Protection:

ריבונו של עולם, מלך רחום וחנון, העומד בשעת צרה, אנא פרוש עלינו סוכת שלום וחסד. רחם על עולמך, על כל נפש חיה, וכבה כל אש של דין ופורענות. שלח טל תחייה ומטר של רחמים לכבות כל שריפה, להציל נפשות ולשמור על בתים ושדות. זכנו לראות ברחמיך ולא בכעסך, באורך אפך ולא בדינך.

ותאמר לי: "אל תירא כי עמך אני, אל תשתע כי אני אלוהיך". אנא ה' – בזכות אברהם, יצחק ויעקב, ובזכות שמך הגדול – כבה אש הדינים, והפוך אותה לאור של ברכה, חסד וישועה. אמן.

Master of the Universe, Merciful and Gracious King, who stands with us in times of trouble, please spread over us a shelter of peace and kindness. Have mercy on Your world, on every living soul, and extinguish every fire of judgment and destruction. Send dew of life and rain of compassion to put out every blaze, to save lives, and to protect homes and fields. Grant us to witness Your mercy, not Your anger; Your patience, not Your judgment.

And You said to me: "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God." Please, O Lord — in the merit of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and in the merit of Your great Name — extinguish the fire of judgment and transform it into light of blessing, kindness, and salvation. Amen.
