Library Art Classes + Reading Puzzle Program

The two weeks of Art Classes offered by the Antonia Spitzer Jewish Library concluded this Sunday – with close to 100 children attending the programs. Professionally led by Mrs. Leah Lieberson the classes were broken down by grades, enabling boys and girls coming out of grades 4-6 to come the first week to create age-appropriate projects and grades 1-3 during the 2nd week. The Library plans to have more special summer programs in the weeks ahead, while its ongoing Jigsaw Puzzle Challenge – also divided into younger and older ages – is off to a great start. Boys and girls successfully finishing their puzzles, with pieces being earned by meeting reading ASJL Library books challenges, will win a refreshing ICEE! Library hours are Sunday 12- 5, Wednesday 5:45- 7:45 and Thursday 10-12. For more information, please contact our Librarian, Mrs. Ahuva Schneider at 773.279.8400 ext. 270 or at librarian@agudahil.org
