In our perek of the day, we are once again left to grapple with very obvious questions that must be raised with the story of Shimshon. Repeatedly, Shimshon seemingly revealed the secret of his unusual power to Delilah. Repeatedly, Delilah revealed the information to the Philistines. Each time they tested Shimshon to see if he lost his strength and each time they saw that he retained his unusual power. Why then did Shimshon reveal the true secret of his power to Delilah the fourth time? He had to have known that it would not remain a secret. Shimshon had to know that, undoubtedly, that Delilah would reveal her new found information to the Philistines just like she had revealed it the first three times!
