CMC MONITORING LONELY SENIORS THROUGHOUT COVID-19 SHUTDOWN

RECENT
QUOTES
"Thank you, Rabbi, I actually can't remember the last time I had a really good bowl of chicken soup, or even any soup at all... and the kneidel was absolutely delicious!"
"Your phone calls are so uplifting for me, and especially since I haven't been able to hug my kids or grandkids for the last 8 weeks!"
"Thanks so much for shopping at Jewel for me and delivering all the bags to my door. It's so reassuring that thanks to CMC, I'm not forced to go to the grocery store and take a risk of catching the virus."
"It was 3pm when you called, and all I had eaten that day was a few crackers with jelly, because the coronavirus shutdown had totally thrown me off my normal routine. Thanks to CMC shopping for me, I was able to get myself together and functioning properly again."
"I am so grateful to CMC for helping me sign up for services from the government and from other agencies, in addition to the programs that CMC provide themselves. I would not have been able to navigate all of these programs on my own, so being able to receive all this assistance is definitely a lifesaver for me."
Throughout the Covid-19 shutdown, CMC continues to monitor approximately 250 vulnerable seniors who remain isolated in their homes during this critical time.

Many of these seniors are receiving crucial assistance from CMC's range of special Covid-19 programs and services, which includes:

Shopping and delivery of food, medicine, and essential items
Fresh-cooked meals for Shabbat and Yom Tov
Daily live Torah classes via conference call and zoom video conferencing
Telephone reassurance calls
Advocacy and support

The community is encouraged to call the CMC to request us to reach out and stay in contact with your senior family member, neighbor or friend.
