Dear Friend,

When I thought about writing this note, I gave thought as to how to address you - just "Hi", Supporter, Participant but then I hit upon the word Friend.  In Hebrew, the word Chavera is friend.  The root of the word Chavera is Chibur - connection or bond.  It's this connection and bond that I'd like to recognize here. We didn't know each other before two and half years ago but now we are connected.  Through Torah study, leadership skills development, chizuk in so many areas, we've created connections that continue to develop and thrive.  Over time, our friendship has grown and our Women's Initiative community has expanded to include women from around the globe.  Across time zones and texts, we draw upon our strengths to connect to Hashem and His Torah and particularly this year, it is this focus and fortitude that gives us courage to continue forward despite challenging times.
I wish each one of you - my dear friends - a year of good health, happiness and holiness with all of Hashem's blessings.

כתיבה וחתימה טובה!
